Terms of Service
The terms and conditions for using Taskio’s website and app.

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Taskio website and our task management app and related services (“Services”). By accessing our website or using our app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services.
2. Use of the website and app
You may browse our website and use our app for task management and productivity. You agree not to misuse the site or app by attempting to interfere with their operation, gain unauthorised access, or use them in any way that is unlawful or harmful.
3. Workspaces and subscriptions
When you register, you create a workspace (organisation) with its own team members and data. We offer two plans:
- Free plan: 100 tasks per project, up to 1 active project, up to 3 team members.
- Pro plan: Unlimited tasks, unlimited projects, unlimited team members, at $10 USDC per month.
Upgrading from the Free plan to the Pro plan is irreversible. Once upgraded, there is no way to return to the Free plan.
If there is any conflict between a specific plan or agreement and these Terms, the specific agreement will usually prevail for that subscription.
4. Your responsibilities
As a user, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your workspace and account credentials secure and not sharing them with others.
- Ensuring the content you add to the app (tasks, projects, notes) does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law.
- Using the Services in line with these Terms and any applicable laws.
- Not using the app for any illegal, abusive, or disruptive purpose.
5. Our responsibilities
Taskio will use reasonable skill and care in providing and maintaining our app and website. We aim to keep the Services available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Services will be error-free at all times.
6. Fees and payment
Pro plan subscriptions are prepaid. You pay for a chosen number of months (1 to 24) in advance. Payment is made in USDC (a stablecoin) on the blockchain via compatible wallets. Unless otherwise stated:
- Fees are charged upfront for the selected subscription period.
- Failed or incomplete payments may result in suspension or loss of access to Pro features.
- Prepaid subscriptions run until the end of the paid period; there is no cancellation or refund for unused months.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed:
- You retain ownership of the content you create in the app (e.g. tasks, projects, and notes).
- We retain ownership of the Taskio app, website, and all related software and materials.
- You grant us a licence to store, process, and display your content as necessary to operate and provide the Services.
8. Third-party services
Our Services rely on the following third-party providers:
- Cloud infrastructure providers – hosting, storage, and infrastructure.
- Email service providers – transactional emails.
- Blockchain payment network – USDC payment processing.
- Wallet providers – for Pro plan payments.
Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or conduct of third-party services.
9. Data use and improvement
We may use data from your use of the Services (including usage patterns and aggregated, anonymised insights) to improve the product and your experience. For details on what data we collect and how we process it, see our Privacy Policy.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information received from the other party confidential and to use it only for the purpose of delivering or receiving the Services, unless disclosure is required by law or explicitly agreed in writing.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide our website “as is” without any warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Taskio is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from the use of our website or Services.
Our total liability in connection with any engagement will be limited as set out in the applicable agreement or, if not specified, to the total fees you have paid to us for the Services giving rise to the claim in the previous twelve (12) months.
12. Termination
To close your workspace and delete your account, contact us at support@taskio.work. When your Pro plan expires and you choose not to renew, you can always request a copy of all your workspace data before closing. When you choose to delete your workspace, all data associated with that workspace (including tasks, projects, team member information, and any other content) is permanently deleted. We may suspend or terminate your access to our website or Services if you materially breach these Terms or any applicable law.
13. Survival
Clauses that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after your access ends, including intellectual property (Section 7), confidentiality (Section 10), disclaimers and limitation of liability (Section 11), governing law (Section 14), and severability (Section 15).
14. Governing law
These Terms (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them) will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Taskio is established, unless otherwise stated in a specific agreement.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
